THE WARRIORS
So I was scrolling down my Netflix instant queue on my TV and I saw that The Warriors (da movie) showed up. I had always wanted to see the movie and vaguely new that it had something to do with gangs. As I started to watch the film the thing got corny quick. There was some wack-ass acting. But I kinda liked it. It wasn't modern, so I guess it was a breath of fresh air from all the shit i'm used to watching everyday. I don't know how to describe it (and not in one of those WOW THIS SHIT ROX type of ways). I can say I see why it's a classic. I can't put my finger on why tho. The whole movie the gang is getting chased, and that's all I'll say. Some minor plot loop holes (like when a character dies no one asks what happened to him or where he went, the movie just continues). But it was just a classic. Replay value is somewhat low, but I loooovveee the cover work so i'd probably get a poster just cause it looks nice. The concept was nice, but the execution was C average. So I guess that's what i'm rating this movie. I liked it a lot, but that's my personal preference and I guess i'm looking at it through a professional stand point.

This movie... sounds like a hit and miss movie to me. Some parts are good while other parts lower the quality.
I can understand why you would like it but personally for me, I'd say it's lower than a 6. You judge a movie for it's plot, effects, acting etc. Then again i like to nitpick about everything.
glad you enjoy it though.
